Lord Buddha Koshi Medical College & Hospital (LBKMCH), Saharsa is affiliated with the Bihar University of Health Sciences (BUHS), Patna, from the academic session 2023–24.
The Bihar University of Health Sciences, Patna was established with effect from 1st July 2022 by the Government of Bihar under the Bihar University of Health Sciences Act, 2021 (Bihar Act 19 of 2021). The University was established with the objective of bringing health science colleges and institutions under a unified academic framework and ensuring systematic, standardized and quality education, teaching, training and research in modern and Indian systems of medicine.
Through its affiliation with BUHS, LBKMCH is committed to maintaining high standards of medical education, clinical training, healthcare services and academic development, in accordance with the norms and guidelines of the University and relevant regulatory authorities.
